Hack Newest Firmwares Include N96 Fw v30.033
Hi all,
with credit to abgnokia, here’s i post a almost complete hacking method.
the end of my post, i’ll attach the files needed. in the zip folder, there’ll be 2 subfolder named “N96″ and “Others”. so, for N96 user, just use the files in the “N96″ folder and to all others phone, use files in the “Others” folder.
Steps:
1. sign MapDrives_V1.01_Unsigned.sis and ROMPatcher_V1.01_Unsigned.sis. for N96, sign MapDrives_V1.01_Unsigned.sis and ROMPatcher_N96_V1.01_Unsigned.sis.
2. Install MapDrives, ROMPatcher and Y_Browser.
3. Run MapDrives. open Y_Browser to confirm there’s A: drive.
4. Copy all files in the folder “Copy2A” into A:\ drive. Note, for N96, copy the files in the “N96\Copy2A” folder.
5. Remove MapDrives.
6. Restart your phone.
7. Start ROMPatcher and apply installserver_FP2.
8. To solve the autostart problem, reinstall the unmodify copy of ROMPatcher after apply the “installserver_FP2″ patch. for N96, “ROMPatcher_N96.sisx” and for others, “ROMPatcher.sisx”. note, if the installer prompt to overight the previous installation, answer yes/continue.
